Who vouches for us, and what the finish has been tested against.
Anyone can say they are the best. Here is what stands behind us, what the technical ratings mean in plain English, and what we do not claim.
- Sourced. A state license, third-party reviews and brand endorsements, with where to look as each detail is added.
- Explained. Salt spray hours and Florida sun ratings, translated into things you can picture.
- Honest. Anything still being confirmed is flagged, not hidden.

What “tested” means, in plain English
2,000-hour salt spray
Picture a coated chip in a box, sprayed with salty, humid air without a break. A 2,000-hour rating means it takes about that long before you would notice a defect. It is a very long time, because nobody is sitting their fence in the ocean. It tells you how tough the coating is.
Five-year Florida UV stable color
A coated chip is left outside in the Florida sun and checked now and then. After five years someone compares it with the original. That is the benchmark for a color holding up in strong sun, and it is what the rating is based on.
How we keep ourselves honest
We inspect before we coat
On wheels, any bend or crack is repaired first, or we tell you why we will not. Some wheels are past what we will put our name to.
We say what we cannot do
No chrome wheels, no recreating machined faces, no small-area touch-ups, no removal or installation of railings.
We tell you when not to bother
If a set of furniture is not worth restoring, we will say so, with no hard sell.
You get a number first
Where a job needs a custom color, repair or oversized part, you get a clear quote upfront before any work begins.
Quick answers
What is a BAR license?
BAR is the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, the state body that licenses and regulates auto repair facilities. A shop must be BAR-licensed and insured to legally take your whole vehicle in for work. Finish Logic is BAR-licensed, which is why you can drop off the car and not just the wheels.
What does a 2,000-hour salt spray rating mean?
CONFIRM rating and source with Flo Imagine a coated metal chip in a closed box, sprayed with salty, humid air non-stop. A 2,000-hour rating means that after about 2,000 hours you would still not notice a defect, which is a very long time. Hardly anything we coat lives in conditions that harsh, so it is a measure of toughness, not a promise about your fence.
What does five-year Florida UV stable mean?
A coated color chip is left outside in the Florida sun, which is among the harshest UV conditions in the country, and checked periodically. After five years it is compared with the original. That is the benchmark for how well a color holds up in the sun.
Is Finish Logic a certified Cerakote applicator?
We apply Cerakote C Series. CONFIRM certification status with Flo before this answer is published Judge us on how we prepare the part, which series we run and what our customers say.
How do I know the reviews are real?
They are on third-party platforms we do not control. Our Google profile shows 64 of 65 reviews at five stars, and we are on Yelp too. Both links are below, so you can read them where we cannot edit them.
