The high-temperature ceramic coating, applied properly.
Cerakote is a thin ceramic coating that takes temperatures regular paint and powder coat can’t survive — 500°F sustained, peaks up to 1800°F. That’s why it’s the standard finish for brake callipers, exhaust headers, turbos, manifolds and anywhere engine-bay heat would burn ordinary finishes off inside a season.
We apply Type-C Cerakote in the workshop, with Glacier Black and Glacier Silver as house specialities. The finish holds against abrasion, chemicals and the heat your turbo throws at it — long enough to outlast the part it’s protecting.
